Nurse Practitioner

Our qualified nurse practitioner Tracey can assess patients and prescribe medication if required. If you have a minor illness or a minor injury you can book yourself directly into one of her clinics, and the duty doctor may also book patients in to see her if they feel it is more appropriate for them to be seen by her. She will always consult a doctor if she feels it is necessary.

These illnesses include:

  • Sore throats
  • Coughs, colds and sinus problems
  • Ear aches
  • Tummy aches
  • Urine infections (sample pots available from reception, please do not bring urine samples in alternative containers)

Tracey also provides a further range of nursing services; appointments can be made for:

  • Travel vaccinations
  • Childrens' routine vaccinations
  • Hormone implants
  • Advice regarding diet, weight and smoking cessation
  • Contraception advice
  • HRT advice and monitoring
  • Well Man and Well Woman checks
  • Cervical smears
  • Chronic Disease Clinics

Practice Nurse

Our Practice Nurse Candice undertakes services such as:

  • Blood tests, Warfarin clinics and Blood pressure checks
  • ECG's (heart trace)
  • New Patient health Checks
  • Advice regarding diet, weight and smoking cessation
  • Chronic Disease Clinics
  • Carers Advice and Signposting

Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Our Health Care Assistant Kirsten undertakes services such as:

  • Blood tests, Warfarin clinics and Blood pressure checks
  • ECG's (heart trace)
  • NHS Health Checks
  • New Patient Health Checks
  • Smoking cessation advice
  • Long term dressing / wound care
  • Leg ulcer clinic
